COOKING SCHOOL IN UMBRIA Instruction of the culinary arts for all levels happens through a series of specific and complimentary courses during which the techniques of Umbrian, Italian and International cuisine are learned.
The cooking course program consists of classes that are structured according to the various seasons of the year, particular course topics, and the availability of the participants to stay for shorter or longer periods.
Italian cooking Classes are given by expert instructors who collaborate with important hospitality structures in Umbria and who, throughout the course of past years, have acquired a competence in teaching the science gastronomy to all levels of students. |

Each course starts with theoretic elements such as how to recognize which ingredients to use, explanation of the culture and techniques of Italian cuisine pertinent to the day's lesson and continue on to step-by-step instruction of recipes carefully chosen to demonstrate the theme of the day.
Classes are normally held at the school's main location at via dei Lillà 3, suburb of Casaglia, Perugia, or, for specific learning programs, at offsite locations chosen by Alta Società according to the particular theme and, as such, are subject to change.
The cooking lessons are held in Italian with English interpretation for foreign participants.
Classes are limited to a maximum of 15 students who are eligible to participate upon acceptance of enrolment by the school.
